Great Western Support Southern Wales Showcase - Tuesday 2 February

Plans for the annual Southern Wales Group Showcase look to be on the right lines as Great Western Railways are to provide free rail transport for tour planners from Paddington Station in London to the event taking place near Cardiff on Tuesday 2nd February.

The event is arranged by Southern Wales Tourism.

The venue for the Showcase event will be Hensol Castle, part of the Vale Resort. It will be an opportunity for  group travel organisers and coach and tour operators to meet hotels, attractions and destinations from around Southern Wales face to face in a businesslike setting. The Showcase is from 10.00 until 15.00 on that day.

Now tour planners can make the most of the limited number of free return rail tickets from Paddington to Cardiff with local coach transport provided to take the buyers to Hensol Castle. The tickets are on the 07.45 service from Paddington to Cardiff Central with a 15.55 return service.

To take advantage of this special offer please register your interest by email to steve@stevereedtourism.co.uk - tickets are strictly limited and are only available on the specified service. Places are subject to availability.

Working in partnership with Steve Reed Tourism, Great Western Railways and the Vale Resort, Southern Wales Tourism are delighted to invite tour buyers to this highly enjoyable event.

The business to business workshop will provide an opportunity for group travel organisers, coach operators and tour operators to meet some of Southern Wales' key tourism suppliers in a series of one-to-one scheduled appointments.

There will also be special offers on the day for bookings taken as well as free lunch and refreshments.

'Last year's Showcase took place at Caerphilly Castle and it was a tremendous success. The 2016 venue, Hensol Castle, is also a top class attraction in its own right for this marvellous group set piece and this year's event should be every bit as good,' says Steve Reed of Steve Reed Tourism.
